•Prepare Your Scalp:Start with a clean scalp. Wash your hair and scalp thoroughly to remove any oils or residues. Dry your scalp completely.
•Apply Scalp Protector (Optional):If you have sensitive skin or want extra protection, apply a scalp protector. It forms a barrier between your skin and the adhesive, reducing irritation.
•Cut the Tape:Measure and cut wig adhesive tape to fit the edges of your wig or hairpiece. You can use small strips or cut longer pieces to match the perimeter of the wig cap.
•Peel Off Backing:Peel off the protective backing from one side of the adhesive tape strip or piece to expose the adhesive.
•Apply Tape to Wig:Carefully place the exposed adhesive side of the tape onto the edges of the inside of the wig cap. Press firmly to ensure it adheres well.
•Remove Remaining Backing:Once the tape is securely attached to the wig, peel off the remaining protective backing from the other side of the tape strip or piece.
•Position Your Wig:Position your wig or hairpiece on your head, aligning it with your natural hairline. Use a mirror to ensure it’s centered and fits securely.
•Press Firmly:Press down along the edges of the wig where the tape is attached. This helps ensure a strong bond between the tape and your scalp.
•Blend and Style:Once the wig is securely in place, style it as desired to blend with your natural hair. You can use a comb or brush to achieve the desired look.
