Boysen QDE Quick Dry Enamel is a fast-drying alkyd type paint that provides substantial durability while still being a fast-drying paint. It is formulated to give a tough and beautiful finish on wood and metal surfaces. The superior hiding properties of this paint, combined with an exceptionally high gloss level, lead to an excellent, long-lasting finish.
This paint is ideal for interior and exterior wood and metal surfaces. It is available in a range of colors, including B-600 White, B-621 Ivory, B-630 Silver Gray, B-631 Medium Gray, B-640 Royal Blue, B-642 Sky Blue, B-647 Delft Blue, B-650 Nile Green, B-651 Dark Green, B-656 Jade Green, B-658 Emerald Green, B-661 Lemon Yellow, B-665 Caterpillar Yellow, B-671 Bright Red, B-671 International Red, B-673 Maroon, B-676 Orange, B-680 Chocolate Brown, B-681 Mahogany, B-683 Caramel Brown, and B-690 Black.
The dry time for this paint is 5 hours for touch-up and 8-12 hours for recoat, with a full cure time of 3 days. It can be tinted with BOYSEN® Oil Tinting Colors at a maximum level of ¼ Liter per 4-Liter can. However, B-2319 Hansa Yellow and B-2315 Bulletin Red are for interior painting only.
Thinning this paint with not more than 1-Liter of BOYSEN® Paint Thinner B-0340 per 4-Liter can of BOYSEN alkyd enamel products. The clean-up solvent for this paint is BOYSEN® Paint Thinner B-0340.
This paint can be applied by brush or roller. The packaging options for this paint are ¼ Liter, 1 Liter, and 4 Liters (available in 16-Liters for B-600 White).
