Product description
A moka pot is a type of coffee maker that brews coffee by passing boiling water pressurized by steam through ground coffee. It is a popular method for making espresso-like coffee at home, especially in Europe and Latin America. The moka pot consists of three main parts:
-Bottom Chamber: This is where water is placed before brewing. It is heated on the stovetop.
-Middle Section: This contains a funnel with a coffee filter where the ground coffee is placed.
-Top Chamber: This is where the brewed coffee collects.
The brewing process works as follows:
1. The water in the bottom chamber heats up and turns into steam.
2. The steam creates pressure, pushing the hot water up through the coffee grounds in the middle section.
3. The brewed coffee then continues up through a central column and collects in the top chamber.
4. The result is a strong, rich coffee similar to espresso, though typically with a lower pressure compared to professional espresso machines.
1. Fill with water at the bottom, avoiding water that exceeds the safety valve.
2. Place the ground fine grind coffee inside the funnel with a little pressure. Do not use malt or coffee with other substances, which can condense and filter openings.
3. Clean screw ring, rubber ring and the funnel. any left coffee particles can deprive sealing the stem and produce landscapes.
4. Keep coffee in a vertical position when screwing the two bodies. this will avoid wetting coffee.
5. Remove the coffee maker from the fire as soon as you can check that the coffee infusion disappeared completely at the top.
1. Never use soap or detergent.
