This is the the old time traditional manual ice shaver used in making halo halo and snacks using crushed ice. Never gets old. Compatible with house made ice and block ice. Everybody remembers this small kitchen tool ice shaver. To use: Lift up lid flap to expose the blade inside. Loosen winged nut on the back to enable the blade to move up and down. Choose the height of the blade and tighten the winged nut. The lower the blade, the thicker the slice. Use like a planer and push the shaver forward on the block of ice to create ice shavings. Place ice shavings in a bowl ready for using in cocktails, drinks and desserts.
