CMC TYLOSE POWDER FOR FONDANT Food Grade for Cake Decoration Topper Gum Paste 100g Sugar

Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) Food Grade. Known under the brand names Tylose and Gum-Tex. Also known as cellulose gum, Gum Trac, Gum Tragacanth, E466 or E469. Ingredient for making fondant icing cake toppers, gum paste, sugar paste, biscuits, marshmallows, ice cream, beverages, instant noodles, orange juice, and soy sauce.

Ingredient for laundry detergents, dishwashing liquid, and fabric softener. Ingredient for lipstick, shampoo, lotion, creams, gels, and cosmetics. Used in textile printing, and fabric dyeing. Alternative to methylcellulose (E461).

A fine white powder is used as a binding agent with fondant to make gum paste and create edible flowers and sugar decorations.

Usage: add approximately 1 tsp tylose powder to 250g fondant and knead.
