How To Make A Serial Killer by Serial Sleeper

 

           Wren returns to the rural city of Valesca when she learns that her Uncle Maynard has cancer. However, the money she earns from podcasting true crime stories isn’t enough to help pay for his hospital bills. And so, when she is approached by Secretary Selene from Tramwell Industries and invited her to meet the boss for a high-paying job, Wren agrees.

 

           The next day, she learns that her schoolmates were invited too, including the Police Officer Stu, a close family friend. The mysterious boss, Andros Tramwell, reveals that they are all chosen for their specific skills to work on the Fearmonger Project—a marketing scheme wherein they would scare people into believing that there’s a serial killer so that many people will buy his company’s upcoming state-of-the-art security system. Eager to earn money for her uncle, Wren and the others accepted the offer.

 

           But as they are starting to do their assigned tasks, Wren realizes that something is wrong. Until the next thing she knows is that one by one, the members of the Fearmonger Project are being murdered.
