- Kwell 50mg/ml (5%) Lotion 60ml, is a scabicide/pediculocide lotion,each ml contain of 5% permethrin each bottle. Apply on affected area.

- Permethrin is a pyrethroid or pyrethrin pediculocide and scabicide. It disrupts Na ion influx through the nerve cell membrane channels, delaying repolarisation thus causing paralysis and death of the parasites.

Indications and Dosage

Topical/Cutaneous: Scabies

- Adult: As 5% cream: Apply a thin layer approx 30 g onto skin surface from the head to the soles of the feet, leave on for 8-14 hr before rinsing.

- Child: 2 mth to 12 yr Same as adult dose.

Topical/Cutaneous: Head pediculosis

- Adult: As 1% lotion (creme rinse): Apply sufficient amount to saturate washed and towel-dried hair and scalp, leave on for 10 min before rinsing. May be repeated after 7-10 days if necessary.

- Child: ≥6 mth Same as adult dose.
