DIRECTION FOR DYEING:  The dye must be dissolved in boiling water to get best results with greatest possible fastness. Wash article and rinse well. Use any vessel (except galvanized) large enough to avoid crowding. Create a dye bath by filling vessel with enough lukewarm water to completely cover article. Dissolve the contents of this package of THE MASTER DYE thoroughly in a little hot water and add to dye bath. Put damp article into dye bath. Boil article in this solution for ten minutes, stirring constantly. Then add one level tablespoonfuls of common salt for every liter of water used. Boil for 20 minutes, stirring constantly during entire process. Remove article, rinse until water runs almost colorless. Press out with hands, open all folds, wrap in towel and iron while moist. Do not attempt to tint or dye a light shade over a dark one. The shade of the resulting color is determined by the weight of the article and amount of dye powder used.
