Distinguish between CrNi stainless steel material types using a simple colorimetric method
Specifications:
Name: Stainless steel identification fluid
Capacity：Net weight approx. 12g (can be used approx. 200 times)
Validity period: 3 year
Usage:
Put a drop of this identification liquid on the steel surface, observe the beginning of the color reddening time, confirm the stainless steel grade (model). The faster it turns red, the worse the material.
Examples of each steel detection (detection temperature 26 ):
200 (ordinary 201): about 5 seconds on the red, 30 seconds to red is 200, 200 material is also good and bad; manganese exceeds the standard
201: red in about 50 seconds; manganese exceeds the standard
202: red in about 1 minute; manganese exceeds the standard
301: 2-3 minutes or so red, the color is very light, to look carefully;
304: 3 minutes are not red, individual bottom color has darkened;
Note:
1. Steel surface without stains, plating or coating should be polished off before testing;
2. Recommended testing temperature of 26 , winter recommended in the air-conditioned room test.
3. After the colorimetric test to wipe off the liquid in a timely manner, so as not to aggravate the corrosion of steel, affecting the aesthetics
