Product description
Silicone Nasogastric Tube (NGT) is a long tube that is passed through the nasal passages via the esophagus into the stomach. Two types of NG tubes are in common use: the single and double lumen sumps tube.
Singled lumen tubes are best for decompression and the double lumen tube is best for continuous lavage or irrigation of the stomach.
SIlicone tubes offer a wide range of advantages that make them the preferred choice. Their heat resistance, flexibility, durability, chemical resistance, insulation properties and ease of maintenance. The tubing is free of peroxide and ketones, making it ideal for use in the food, medical, dairy and vending industries.
It should not be used for more than 4-6 weeks because of complications or poor adherence to treatment.
