Premium Barako - Pure Excelsa 100%
Indulge in the taste of tradition in every cup!
Premium Barako typically presents nutty flavors, chocolate-like undertones, and some fruity notes. It tends to have a moderate acidity, which contributes to the coffee's brightness without being overly sharp.
Grind Options:
Fine - for stovetop brewing/panlaga, moka pot, aeropress
Medium - coffeemaker, pour over, siphon
Coarse - french press, percolator, cold brew
Beans - grind before you brew
TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS: Kindly inspect the coffee beans for any small rocks or stems before grinding. While our team has diligently removed foreign objects, manual inspection may not guarantee complete removal.
Why is it important to know which grind size to use?
If the contact time is too high or the grind is too fine, it will result in an over-extracted brew which can be bitter. If the grind is too coarse or the contact time is too short, the coffee will turn out weak. Finding the proper balance between the two will help in producing the best cup of coffee possible.
