Help polish away some of the compounding scratches and swirls that other compounds leave behind.
1. Wash of the headlight lenses with car soap and water. Wash the surrounding areas as well.
2. Use ' to completely block off the headlight and protect the rest of the car.
3. Start with the Hippo Sandpaper Grit 1500.Wet the sandpaper and the headlight, then sand the lens in straight, horizontal strokes. Repeat the process with the Hippo Sandpaper Grit 2000. Then, Hippo Sandpaper Grit 3000.
4. Wipe off and dry your headlights, then squeeze some of Timeless Rubbing Compound out onto a clean microfiber towel. Rub in for a few minutes using circular motions.
5. Wax the lens with Timeless Liquid Wax
Removing Scratches Light/Medium
1. Clean the Surface of the Scratch
FOR MEDIUM SCRATCHES - Start with the Hippo Sandpaper Grit 1500. Wet the sandpaper and the area, then sand in straight, horizontal strokes. Repeat the process with the Hippo Sandpaper Grit 2000. Then, Hippo Sandpaper Grit 3000.
2. Apply enough Timeless Rubbing Compound over your microfiber towel to cover the dull area with a thin amount of compound.
3. Rub in a circular motion over the dull area with a microfiber towel.
4. Apply more Timeless Rubbing Compound until the area is no longer dull.
5. Wax the area with Timeless Liquid Wax.
1. With soapy water Clean the entire car surface. Then, rinse the surface with plain water.
2. Use MTX Painter's Tape on the edges, headlights/Tailight and emblem.
3.Start with the Hippo Sandpaper Grit 1500. Wet the sandpaper and the area, then sand in straight, horizontal strokes. Repeat the process with the Hippo Sandpaper Grit 2000. Then, Hippo Sandpaper Grit 3000.
4. Apply a thin line of Timeless Rubbing Compound over the dull sanded area directly on the painted surface. Set your buffing machine into motion over scratch.
5. After cleaning off any Timeless Rubbing Compound , you can use another wool pad and polish the surface using APC Fine Liquid Polish.
6. OPTIONAL: Wax the whole area with Timeless Liquid Wax.
