•Fungal infections: Prevents and treats superficial fungal infections in fish, including white tufts or strands on the body
•Fish eggs: Prevents fungal or bacterial infections in newly laid fish eggs
•External parasites: Treats some external protozoan parasites, such as Ichthyophthirius (Ich), Chilodonella, and Costia
•Toxicity: Treats toxicity caused by ammonia and nitrite
•Cyanide and nitrite poisoning: Helps fish poisoned by cyanide and nitrite ion by converting methemoglobin to hemoglobin
•Safety
•Methylene blue is safe for use with fish eggs and fry
•Methylene blue can be harsh on aquatic plants with long term use
•Some species, like wrasses or seahorses, may react negatively to Methylene Blue treatments
•INSTRUCTIONS:
•1. Clean the tank before use.
•2. Dissolve the desired amount of methylene blue into the water if it has.
•3. Apply 1 Tablespoon for every 10 Gallons.
•4. If noticably needed to use after 2 days, repeat the application.
•Note: The water will turn blue, but the color will gradually disappear. Other forms like filter foam will get stains but safe.
