•Before any service work on the belt is begun to be sure that the motor or engine is switched off and cannot be started.
•Important:
•Check for worn tensioners and idler pulleys. This is the best time to replace these part these parts if needed.
•Belt Removal:
•Loosen adjustment or pivot bolts.
•Move adjustment unit to minimum position.
•Remove belt.
•Belt Installation:
•Place new belt loosely on pulleys. Do not pry onto pulleys.
•Tension belt according to manufacturer's instruction.
•Run drive 5 minutes and retension. Belts must be tight enough to prevent slipping when drive is fully loaded.
