INDICATIONS and CLINICAL USES:
For bacterial infections of the extemal auditory meatus susceptible to polymyxin, neomycin, and nitrofurazone: especially Gram-negative / Pseudamonas spp. and Proteus spp, as well as for ear mites (Orodectes cynotis) infection.
Lidocaine being a topical local anesthetic, facilitates handling and relieves pain for animals suffering from ear infections as these infections may cause severe irritation and pain.
DOSAGE and APPLICATION :
Large dogs : 10-15 drops
Small dogs : 3-5 drops
Instilled into meatus once or twice daily.
