•These pressure gauges are used where the pressure medium is non-corrosive to brass, phosphor bronze, or beryllium copper wetted parts. Air, gas and water services are the most common applications, including a low lead version.️
•2 inches Outside Diameter️1/4 inch NPT️
•Working environment temperature: 40ºC - 60ºC️
•A gauge range of twice the working pressure is generally recommended for maximum accuracy, safety, and for extended gauge life. The operating pressure should always be limited to 75% of the gauge range. When pressure pulsations are encountered, the operating pressure should be limited to two thirds of the gauge range.️ Use this formula to decide which pressure gauge you need. Formula: HP = PSI * GPM / 1714PSI is gauge pressure in pounds per square inch; GPM is oil flow in gallons per minutes.
•Rules-Of-Thumb: Horsepower for driving a pump: For every 1 HP of drive, the equivalent of 1 GPM @ 1500 PSI can be produced. Horsepower for idling a pump: To idle a pump when it is unloaded will require about 5% of its full rated horsepower.
