Product description
INDICATION:
IRON AID is a highly palatable hematinic syrup which rapidly provides elemental iron. It is used in the prevention and treatment of Iron deficiency in pets by increasing hemoglobin levels, and properly transporting and utilizing oxygen to all cells of the body. It aids in the treatment of anemia secondary to blood parasitism infections or other conditions. It also assists healthy pregnancy, increases energy, and enhances athletic performance.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Cats and Puppies: 1 mL/kg bodyweight, every 12 hours
Young and Adult Dogs: 1 mL/kg bodyweight, every 8-12 hours
Or as prescribed by a veterinarian.
Treatment should be continued until anemia is properly corrected, usually at
14-25 days. A blood analysis maybe required to monitor and evaluate the response to treatment. Dogs suffering from certain diseases or experiencing chronic blood loss, or those undergoing hard training in a warm climate might require supplementation to prevent the development of iron deficiency anemia.
