For beginners, this is definitely the perfect curler. Having thick hair is very hard for the curls to hold on but when i tried this one, my curls lasted for 12 hours. Good thing it has a freebie of 3 hair clips, 1 comb which really helped me to section my thick hair. Good thing it has an indicator
