This manual food grinder is ideal for grinding grains corn nuts and cereals. This manual food grinder is ideal for grinding grains corn nuts and cereals- Adjustment on the mill allows you to mill from coarse to fine for a variety of recipes. The durable cast iron construction with a rust resistant finish makes this mill easy to clean. The sturdy clamp base securely attaches the mill to a table or counter while using a rubber counter protector to keep from denting or scratching your counter or tabletop. The long armed hardwood handle allows for easy continuous operation Its easy and simple to use. You should not have to over exert to turn the handle. If you are having difficulty, check to ensure there are no foreign objects like stone pebbles or nails in the input. For tough input like coffee beans or large corn kernels, multiple passes may be required. First set to coarse by turning the the adjustment screw and 2 side screw (shown in detail in picture) so that the grinding wheels will separate to accommodate bigger particles. This first pass will crack the grain. Then put the output back into the hopper, adjust the settings, and grind again. You may do one two or multiple passes to achieve your desired texture.

 

NOTE: We do not recommend using the machine for both human and animal consumption alternately. Actual item has shiny finish with scuff marks from industrial manufacturing process. This does not affect functionality. We fully inspect the item before packaging.
