•Physical Description: Colourless, odourless, transparent crystals or white granules or powder; slightly unctuous to the touch; occurs in nature as the mineral sassolite
•Melting Point: 171C.
•Other descriptors: Sinks and mixes with water. Known as hydrogen borate. It is a weak monobasic Lewis acid of boron .
•Boric acid is typically utilized in industrial processing and manufacturing, but is also used as an additive in pharmaceutical products, cosmetics, lotions, soaps, mouthwash, toothpaste, astringents, and eyewashes.
•Shelf Life: Good as long as stored in a cool, dark and dry place. Seal properly after each use
