Product description
PLASTER OF PARIS - PREMIUM
Used for finished products such as chalk, figurines and wall cornices, and as molds for candles.
Plaster is also used as “backing” support for silicone rubber molds.
Safe and non-toxic for children to use (e.g. hand print projects).
Available in Filler (regular) and high-strength.
Does not generally shrink or crack when dry, making it an excellent medium for casting molds.
Mixer: Vacuum mixer is recommended
1. Slowly sprinkle plaster powder into water and allow to soak 1-2 minutes.
2. Mix in vacuum mixer with mixing speed around 300-400 rpm (revolutions per minute).
3. Slowly pour plaster slurry into a case mold to prevent any air bubbles getting entrapped.
4. Once plaster has hardened and mold / casting has begun to cool, de-molding can begin.
